An idea to share also needs feedback

Hi All,

I noticed Internet gambling market is going strong and no where to end.

I plan to build a gaming kingdom based on this profit share concept - use halfcasino.com, halfsports.com, halfbingo.com and halfpoker.com to cover the whole gaming field and offer gamblers the best deal on net.

My idea is to make every player as a house stock holder, if the house makes profit, every player gets part of it, and get paid daily.

In casino, sports and bingo, simply add a feature to the software by using this formular:

player income = 50% x house daily profit x player daily wager / total player daily wager

In poker, add a meter to tell player how much is his rake, by the end of the day, half of that amount will be add to his account.

I posted this idea at some related gambling forums, feedbacks showed pretty high interest, the key to success is a reputable firm to back it up.

I wonder if you like this idea, could you please give it a comment, appreciate!

Sincerely,

Joe Chang

Great idea Joe. This gives you an 'edge", something no one else has. Better get it happening before someone else does. Great concept though, I can see how people would like it and it would draw considerable traffic

It's a very unique idea. Great twist.

Just be advised that there are a couple of legal aspects you may want to check into first.

First and foremost, by labeling the players as stock holders, you immediately make yourself subject to compliance of your local investment laws. Please structure this carefully, and have an attorney look it over before going live.

Second is that by sharing in the profits of the house, this scenario would put your US customers in violation of the US Criminal Code. It's not likely to result in any of them getting arrested unless they put a lot of work into capturing your database, but since it is technically possible, you should consider the option and have a contengency plan available.

It's hard to say this early on, since the site isn't finished yet and hasn't been branded, and especially since there's no software on it yet.

My main suggestion for you at this time is to consider removing your development environment from public view until the site is complete. You do not want someone to stumble across it before it is finished and have that be their first impression.

I would move all of the development files to either a different directory or a different url (something random like khsrei34.com). Then for your main page just put a coming soon message, and maybe a way to capture their email address so they can be notified when the site goes live. This way, you can still see your work as you develop it and still show your work to others, but the general public would have no idea how to access these pages until you are ready to launch.

The other thing I would recommend that you address is that there is conflicting information. On the "About Us" page, you say that you are not going to have an affiliate program because you want to eliminate the middle man and offer a better value for your players. But then on the "Refer-A-Friend" page, it says that if you refer someone you get 10% commission for life, which sounds like an affiliate program to me. One of the two pages should be changed so that they are both in sync with each other.

How about make it simpler?

Give half daily profit to one luck player - by drawing.
