I had a great time at the @#$%&. I confess I went with some trepidation, I'm not a very marketing oriented person, and can get angry when I feel I am being "sold to"; especially if I think the product is actually the Brooklyn Bridge.

I was pleasantly surprised. Many of the presenters were forthright and informative, even to the point of leaving me stunned. Isn't that a trade secret? Should she really be telling us this? *scribble scribble* He said what?

I don't want to say it was all sure-fire secrets of success; in fact, the overall message was, "The gold rush is over. The margins are thin. You can still make money, but you have to work, and you have to be creative."

And, once again, that old business truth, so often repeated but so true: it's in building relationships, people.

As for the Brooklyn Bridge, sorry Mary.....I bought it a long time ago. Its MINE and its NOT for sale :-) I like NYC and I look at the flag hanging over it and say, "God Bless the USA and may God Bless my bridge."

I may change the name to the "Brooklyn-StartCasino Bridge" - whaddya think?

I too enjoyed the @#$%&. It gave me a chance to meet people face to face that I have been wanting to do for a while. The organization was great, I loved how there was constantly things to do to keep me busy, even at the end of each conference day there was some sort of party which really gave me a chance to get to know people. I think You put a great conference and I just want to give a special thanks to the staff for being very helpful at the conference, they were great when ever I needed help with anything they were right there helping. Thanks Marcfor the great show!

One day i hope Mary will tell me all her Industry secrets and what was said etc will make interesting listening i\'m sure..
