I am trading an open-source casino application
Posted by: Jul (---.dynamic.xdsl-line.inode.at)

Hey Guys,

I currently own an open-source casino including an admin panel, operator panel, user area and the following games:

American Roulette, Blackjack, Jacks or better, Keno Master, Triple Chance Hi-Lo, Virtual Horseracing, some 4-reel-slots, 3-reel slots, scratch tickets,...

The application was completed about 14 days ago and has not been sold to anyone yet.

I am willing to trade my application for other casinos, sportsbooks or poker websites.

Let me know your offers :)

Hasn't been "sold" yet......willing to trade

This doesn't sound like open-source at all.

Jerry, what do you mean?

What I mean is that open-source software is freely distributed under a general public license. I've never seen any open source application that was sold or traded as a commodity.

oh,

i didnt know that open-source has to be free.

Then the word would be "unencrypted" or "with source codes provided"

Julian ;)

ah, cool. It just threw me because someone else here was asking about open source a couple of weeks ago. There are two open source poker products out there, but I've never tried either of them. I have been told that they both have a lot of bugs.

Hey,

I also never tried any free open-source casinos/poker rooms ...

However, I am soon starting a company called "JackPotSoft".

We will be selling a complete onling gaming solution called "GamingCenter" which will include a casino only in the first version, but we are planning to add Poker and casino modules with version upgrades.

The solutions is going to include a few standard flash games (roulette, keno, blackjack, video poker, hi-lo, virtual horse racing, slot machines) and users will be able to purchase additional games on our versions or trade their own games for GamingCenter in our forums...

We are planning to sell the complete, unencrypted solution for $499.99 (our goal is to sell 1000 GamingCenter's till end of 2007)

Do you think this can be successful/ are there enough people looking for onling gaming software so that we can achieve our goals?

GamingCenter will actually be the first really cheap turnkey online gaming solution (the application has got a really good quality and had cost us about $35000 to develop, not like Kazinosoft lol ;)

I can't believe my eyes. The guy who was widely accused across the internet of stealing source code from eplaysoft is now here trying to claim that someone else stole it from him.

I don't really believe you for a second, but even if it's true, all I can say is sweet, sweet irony.
