I assume you have DEEP pockets of cash. Because that's what you need.

First and foremost, WHERE are you looking to start such an operation? USA? Australia, Carribean?

King (---.dorm-net.louisville.edu)

Are you a college student?
Dorm -net at the University of Louisville ( [www.louisville.edu] )

You're better off buying the school. That's how much you need., regardless of the location.

I was using my cousin's computer and I am going to graduate can you get me the info or not. I am asking for help not bs and small talk. How do you know that i don't have the pockets, all I am asking for is all the info that I need to get one started whats so wrong about that. If you can't help me just say it so I can try to find someone who can.

OK there, Mr. Grad Student using his cousin's computer in the Dorm of the University of Louisiana ;-)

Expect to shell out anywhere from $225 million (minimum) to open a Las Vegas Based casino on the strip.

If you don't want the strip, well still you need a gaming license. That doesn't come cheap at all, and I hope your record is clean as a whistle. Las Vegas' Gaming Board isn't kind to doleing out gaming licenses to out-of state newcomers, and has been known to decline "just because they feel like it."

Carribean will put you back $25 million (minimum) depending on the location.

Australia, $75 million (minimum) for a decent location.

Dr. Schwartz said it best: Invest in education. I'm sure the Professor over at CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com could also provide you good advice as to why it would be better for you as a newbie to buy the school you go to than walk into this green. Plus, the school you go to looks nice. And ... Louisiana is well known for its polite and well-figured women.

Whats up with you and buying school and the school is not Louisiana and not in a dorm. Once again can you give me any info on how to start one or not. You gave me start-up prices but I need start-up info. Like what kind of gaming license, who I need to talk to, how to contact them, and other info I might need.

If the "King" of the Louisville University Dormitory entered a fictitous e-mail into the system, there's nothing I could do.

E-mail names are completely anonymous...I don't even see them....you get a reply by e-mail and you don't even see the e-mail address.

I don't think he will call because I doubt he can afford an Interational call. Besides, the semesters over and its probably time to for him to work his summer job.

Sorry I can't help you more there Terry.

I have already been in contact with him King of the Louisville dorm, it shows you don't have a life. A summer job, do you even have a job or just sit at home and play with your computer while I work for a major company. And now starting my own. Just stick to what you do and don't worry about others. People on here tell my that you full of s@#! anyway.

Well, then I clearly stand corrected.

Gee, I guess detective work doesn't pay off.

Best of luck with your operation at your "Major company."

Correct Terry,

There is a difference between a bodega with slot machines in it and a FULL casino/hotel.

Those that are serious about getting into the land-based business generally look at the latter, which have much higher start-up costs than $1.5 Million.

Ok now I was thinking about making plans on how to get to that point, but start small first and work my way up.

ok I understand about the slots but can I add card tables to that and if I can how much would that be?

King you can buy a hotel/casion with slots only (no card tables) in Australia either hands on or fully managed and extremly profitable as I have said before for as little as $1.5 million US and offshore investors are welcome in Australia.

If you want a landbased casino you should come down here and have a look for yourself.
