This is a response direct from BetCorp about start up costs.

Question: Do you charge anything? Response: We have an upfront setup fee to get your site integrated with ours. It’s $3,000 (negotiable) to get you fully up and running. We can charge this out of your future earnings if you’d rather not pay upfront.

$3000?? hummmmm...
Let's look at what "Pump 101" (Damian Dunlap)posted earlier.

$5,000 investment up front we paid for betcorp to handle, back end

$3000 (negotiable) reports BetCorp. But Damian claims $5000.

"someone" is lying about things.

I posted this previously:

I have heard a lot of stories about damian dunlap.
he is not to be trusted. he scams everyone he does business with.
he got cited for a real estate escrow scam in calif.
this man is not honest.

Like I said... He CAN'T be trusted.

So anybody who want's one, should buy their own for approx. $3000.You would have a year (from what i heard) to pay it off from your earnings. Why buy Damian's at an inflated price esp. with the info. thats been posted here and around about the Pump sites.

Pumppoker cost $5000 up front, We can prove that. Matter of fact I am willing to put $20,000 that we paid $5000. Also all the negative information about pump comes from you guys the thiscasinosucks.com crew

Pumppoker has 800 sign ups allready which is worth money. Betcorp dont make your site for you, they only handle the backend, payments, lines. You have to pay for the front end and pay to market.

Pumppoker comes with customers allready.

Just talk to the manager that handles the setup, he says the price is still
$5000.00 if you want 50%

They might let u work for them for less. But you still have to pay for design and no one going to give you free customers to start with.

So thiscasinosucks.com crew keep spreading lies

I have no doubt that you did pay that amount...It's just "normal people" that pay $3000 or less...

They realized they were dealing with an idiot...and NAILED YOU GOOD... LOL

Do most business people smile when they see you coming?

Marketing Manager
BetCorp Canada

1) Does a person purchase a license? No. An antigua-based gaming license required to operate the business is covered by Tasman Gaming (subsidiary of BetCorp)

2) Does the person choose which label they want? Yes. You can call you site whatever you like.

3) Would the person buy their own domain to operate it? Yes. The domain’s all yours.

4) Is it it's own casino, sportsbook, etc. or connects to a certain one and operates on/from it? You take care of the “front end”. That is the home page and other pages designed to inform would-be customers and guide them toward the signup form. We take care of the “back end”. Once logged in, they’re playing on our platforms (e.g., sportsbook, casino, poker, skill games). To the extent possible these are made to look generic, however not all are fully customizable.

5) If a person obtains one of the white label casino/sportsbook, is it theirs? To own? Operate? For legal reasons, we would “own” the customers and take on the operating responsibility and assume the risks of their gaming activity. You would be responsible for marketing your site to attract players. We often run promotions that cross all of our brands and white label partner sites. You’re free to take part in or opt out of these.

6) Would that person have any control on the financial part of the white label casino/sportbook?

a) record keeping of deposits, payouts..etc? We would provide you full detailed monthly reports of your players’ activity (e.g., signups, funded signups, net deposits, net win for each product line, chargebacks, fees, commissions, etc.) Plus you would have real time access to your customers’ signup and P&L activity.

7) Can they be purchased and become the property of the purchaser, their own casino/sportsbook? If you’re asking if you can sell us your part of the business once it’s up and running and you’d like to exit from it, we would have to consider that on a case-by-case basis. The terms of our agreements are usually for a 1-year period to begin with. If you’re asking something else, it might have been answered in (4) above.

8) What compensation does one get as the skin owner? You receive a commission based on your players’ monthly net revenues. This is a based on staggered rate scale that begins at 40% and runs up to 50% depending on the volume of net losses. The 40% baseline is higher than you’ll find on our, and most other affiliate relationships.

9) Do you charge anything? We have an upfront setup fee to get your site integrated with ours. It’s $3,000 (negotiable) to get you fully up and running. We can charge this out of your future earnings if you’d rather not pay upfront.

10) If you do charge, Do you build it, or is that up to the owner (say for instance, me)? We don’t build the site for you, but we create and customize the signup section and backend (logged in sections) of the site. We can provide you some guidelines and advice, but the front end of the site’s yours to create

11) Who would be responsible for building the actual site? You would be responsible for building it. We could recommend some resources, but it’s not a task we have the people or time to take on fully for each of our white label partners.

12) I went around and checked a few of the sites that are of the 'white label' sites, all has the .com pegistered 'private', while the .net of the site has the registrants information listed, with the .net redirecting to the .com?

Do you suggest to these white label carriers/owners to do that? Due to if the owner being in the U.S. it's illegal to own one? Or does BetCorp actually has the .com registered?
For the mostpart, BetCorp has its own sites registered under its operating company, Tasman Gaming. Tasman is located and licensed in Antigua. All White Label partners should control their own domains, whether they're .com or .net. We don't advise them on how to structure this.

Since I'm not an attorney, unfortunately I can't offer advice on your question. However, I would suggest seeking a legal opinion to help you determine your best course of action

Dont sale your site on this forum

Pump,

You placed your site up for sale on EBAY. So, guess what? You get alot of scrutiny. Much more than the other sites for sale listed on this board.

People are watching the bid price. That's what you want, yes? That has to be why you put it on ebay.

My policy is if someone posts here, they leave themselves 'exposed to the elements,' good or bad.

All I wanted to know is if the offer on ebay was reasonable.

As of 5:00am on March 20th there are NO BIDS on Pump Poker.

End time: Mar-21-06 11:11:04 PST (1 day 9 hours)
Shipping costs: Check item description and payment instructions or contact seller for details
Ships to: Worldwide
Item location: Barbuda Antigua and Barbuda
History: 0 bids

Nine days on eBay and not a nibble at the asking price.

Better drop that opening bid price to $14 DOLLARS. (instead of $14,000) At least then you might get a few offers.

Tell you what, Damian. I'll trade you a bridge I own in Brooklyn for Pump Poker, or some ocean front property I own in Arizona. Your choice. :-)

Pump 101? That's you Damian Dunlap?

PumpPoker is listed on the bottom of the webpage [www.damiandunlap.com]
I also listened to your October 2005 interview:
[audiopostcard-003.com]
I also saw that Casinomeister banned you.

I remember meeting you at CAC2004 in Las Vegas. I thought you were cool.

I'm surprised. You're 1 year younger than me. I remember giving you the microphone in Vegas.

I'm shocked. I can't believe that what is posted above is the same person.

Call me on the phone.

Don't be. That is Damian's "Standard M.O." when he is annoyed over something.

He has a long history of vile, nasty and foul responses to anyone that questions him.

Don't waste your time talking with this GOOF. He is a disgrace to the online gaming industry. His "reputation" as a foul mouthed GOOF is growing by the day.

Ask the Fortune Lounge VOPS about him... that will give you a "much clearer" picture of this GOOF.

I read about him at Casino Meister.

Again, I met him at CAC2004 in las Vegas. He seemed like an OK guy at the time. I never really interacted with him other than the final session. He seemed to be genuinely interested in the industry and excited about it.

I really can't keep on top of everyone in the business. There are so many new faces I see at the conferences. I hear alot of stories of bad dudes and there always is someone out there blowing hot air about someone in the industry.

But to try to screw up Ted Loh's charity campaign for the Tsunami victims? That is low. Really low.

Its my motto to be able to sleep at night knowing I try to help people.

Damian is like the boy that cried wolf...

He is "always sorry" after he runs off at the mouth...
yet he goes and does the SAME THING over and over.

He is nothing but a spoiled, arrogant, abrasive, foul mouthed Man_Child.

The online gaming community is only "fouled" by his constant annoying and irritating presence.
