What pricerange is there for starting a pokerroom?
Total package: licence,software etc.?

The price range is all over the map. For software licensing alone, expect between 20,000 up to 100,000 generally. Some of the poker network providers will ask you for a business plans, others do not. Some will let you piggy back on licensing, others again - not.

If you target the European market, a standalone poker site traditionally doesn't do well. Go for a multi platform solution. More expensive than a standalone poker solution, but better results from marketing and high revenues on a per player basis.

If you look to start from the ground up, with no database etc. look on having a good amount of capital for the project. $250,000+, even when using a networked solution. Again, it all depends on the provider you choose, what goals you have, marketing experience and avenues etc.
