Sportsbook License

Need help from gurus here..

I am going to start a sportsbook (will add casino and games later) focusing on soccer. Which country's license can i consider? Malta is one of my choice for now.

I would like to run the operation( odds making) remotely in another country.

I will be using in house software.

There are many license providers like offshore explorer which provide licence.

Is it advisable to use their service? Or is it better to contact the relevant authorites directly(maybe through lawyers from that particular country)?

Pls advice.

Tok,

Malta is a good choice, but nt without cost. A class 1 license will cost $10,000 a month or so. A class 2 is 10% roughly of your net. 0.5% of the gross wagers.

If cost is your concern, the cheapest jurisdiction that's out there is Costa Rica. Not the most reputable one, but if you want to get of the ground
cheaper, then that may be a solution.

Using someone elses license is maybe not the best solution. Using someone to set t up a corporation, better. Just remeber that setting up bank accounts etc. is not very easy these days and require someone with good contacts and experience.

If you want some more info, you can PM me.

Andy
